Are you feeling worried?
Are you angry?
Are you confused?
well then, pick up a book and start reading!
Reading is the panacea of most troubles and worries. It helps one to dive into the realm of fantasy and excitement only the reader can experience.
When it comes to reading books it does not only have to involve reading classics or big novels. Books have a wide variety of genres. No matter what your mood or situation in life is I'm sure there is a book for you.
Reading helps in so many ways!
First and foremost one can always learn new things.
Reading also helps you grow. There are guides and help books available from where one can learn how to grow in life and be more mature, confident, and intellectual. Gaining knowledge is the easiest thing to do in this world.
One must always know how to pick up a good book based on their reading experience. You cannot be someone who hasn't read one book in their life and decide to read Wuthering Heights just 'cause you know it's a classic or someone recommended it you. You need to pick up a book which will indulge your mind completely and to do that always read its overview at the back. Choose the book on the basis of your understanding of that overview and think whether it is suited to your interest and your reading capacity or not.
If you are someone who are already feeling done with life, pick up a book! Self-help books, motivational books or even fantasy books can make a lot of difference in your life. They can inspire you to do something which you might have never thought you would do.
Reading before bed can help you sleep. It will also ensure sweet dreams. Believe me!
Reading is very entertaining and exposes you to a variety of ideas and cultures and overall makes you feel good and happy. It helps in building conversation skills. Trust me after reading a good book you would surely want to talk about it and hence gives you a reason to strike a conversation with someone.

If you are feeling you have a lot of time in your hands and you are wasting it then start reading and this time it doesn't have to be a book. It can be a magazine or a newspaper or an article online. Basically something which will keep your mind busy. Remember "an idle mind is a devil's workshop".
In todays era, reading is an important skill as it helps you get your eyes off electronics which is very essential.
Reading helps you feel smarter which is good for you. It gives a great boost to your self esteem.
And like that I can go on and on about the perks of reading but remember the most important reason why you should read is because you can!
